Amazon Transportation Representative
Location: IND AP, Na virtual
The amazon transportation representative works in the network operation center (NOC),which monitors tracks and manages the entire transportation flow across amazon supply chain network the main purpose of this role is to maintain smooth communication between carriers, hubs warehouses and internal amazon teams the representative is responsible for resolving transportation issues quickly so that customer experience, delivery timelines and business operations are not affected the role plays a key part in ensuring Amazon meets its delivery promise every day,
Roles and responsibilities
- Communication with external customers
- Must be able to systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written as one may be required to create a narrative outlining weekly findings and the variances to goals, and present these findings in a review forum.
- Review and shift objectives and open incidents from the handover.
- Set parities for the shift based on pending issues.
- Verify access to dashboard, ticketing tools and communication channels.
- Conform that all transportation alert and systems feeds are up to date
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments for exceptions or delays.
- Check appointment confirmation and identify any missed slots
- Triage incidents by severity and assign immediate actions steps.
- Communicate timelines and priorities clearly to stakeholders.
- Investigate issues using internal tools time snaps gps and shipment data.
- Contact carriers, vendors fc teams and drives to collect accurate updates.
- Log ever communication attempts for transparency
- Track resolution until full resolution is achieved
- Document root causes and corrective steps for each issues
- Prepare a weekly findings performance updates and support business review with clear reporting
- Handover open time owners and the next step is incoming shift
- Update knowledge base with new producers FAQs. and lessons learned
