About the Role

As a Professional Scorer for the ACT, you will evaluate challenging written responses that are based on a stringent set of rubrics. The majority of responses on this assessment are scored by an artificial intelligence system; however, you will be tasked with scoring outlier responses that could not be assessed by the AI. These responses may not closely align with the prompts, requiring you to make nuanced scoring decisions.

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate student responses to open-ended questions reliably and score according to the provided scoring guide.
• Successfully internalize training materials and the customer scoring guide.
• Pass a qualifying test before beginning scoring.
• Apply the scoring guide without personal bias, adhering strictly to customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Should have bachelors degree as a educational qualification
• Should have basic computer skills
• Should complete versant qualification test
• Should able to work with confidential data

Pre Joining requirements

• We must attend training remotely
• Training and scoring should be attended and checked regularly
• Able to work 12 hrs per day and 40 hrs per week.

Technical requirements

• Windows Users : The operating system must be Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, or 10.
• Mac Users : The operating system must be OS X Snow Leopard (10.6), Lion (10.7), Mountain Lion (10.8), Mavericks (10.9), or Yosemite (10.10).
• Preparation Tip : It is recommended to verify that your system is relatively up to date to ensure compatibility with the scoring platform.
